Fantastic Fundraising Dinner at The King's School Canterbury

We would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to King's School Canterbury for selecting Rwanda Action as their Charity of the term and for organising such a successful fundraising dinner last Saturday. We are so encouraged to see such an enthusiastic group of youngsters take the initiative to help communities in distant lands.

The funds raised during the night go towards expanding our teacher training work, supporting teachers to identify students who have fallen behind and get them back up to speed. Our latest project in this field, The Learning Initiative, has been so successful at this that the average grade across the 16 schools we worked in improved by an amazing 34%!

We are incredibly grateful to King's School Canterbury for their support, and we are excited to put the funds they raised to the best of uses, enabling access good quality education for children in south west Rwanda.
